I don't really like either of those, and having the
OS doing this is a big step further towards full
monitoring of everything I do with my computer.
I do not see a reason to trust any company with that
sort of information. I think we are heading down a
dangerous path if we start to routinely allow this
"for our own protection". But opinions differ, I guess.

I certainly don't expect MS to do this but it *is* technically feasible to
separate routing from identification:
https:www.torproject.org
(And before someone raises the issue, let me point out that end-to-end
