Samsung could always delay or cancel that new plant in Texas.

Apple is pushing for an injunction banning the sale of all the infringing
samsung devices.

Then they will file a follow-up lawsuit against the products that have been
released since this lawsuit begun, and since they are also rectangles with
rounded corners, they can point to this case as a precedent and get those banned
as well.

no, this is pretty much a matter of apple trying to eliminate all competition
for touchscreen phones. Samsung has to fight or abandon the market

Putting the money into bond will be expensive, but to let it stand more so.

Put the finance Samsung is/was going to put into the new factories in Texas into the Bond.

Simples.
