They spent a lot of money clearing their good name, and buying these
"assets" would be tantamount to an admission there was some there
there.

That is, for a small price, purchase all the records of TSG, with the intent of
finding evidence of the true sponsors, and simply dropping all pending
litigation, permanently.
That might not cost too much more than A very fancy red dress for PJ!

I can't imagine that the remaining assets total more than what TSG owes Novell
in illegally converted licensing fee money. Since those assets were converted
(stolen), Novell should have prior claim over any simple creditors. If there's
any info to be found digging through the corpse, Novell should be the one to get
it.
Novell should also have computer forensic experts standing by to scrounge
through the hard drives of any physical machines they can recover. :)

They've brought other silly lawsuits. Maybe they've decided to enter the
