Ammo for appeal
Authored by: Anonymous on Thursday, August 23 2012 @ 10:36 PM EDT
Wow, it occurs to me that this is exactly what has happened. I suspect that
maybe 1 or 2 people have strong opinions and everyone has agreed to defer
judgement to them because they don't care.

Imagine having to be unanimous on 600+ questions. Even at 5 minutes per
question, that puts us around 50 hours. If they have asked for extra time
because they think they can be done by tomorrow, it means they have timed out
how long it's taking them to get through the questions.

If they are finished by tomorrow, I suppose this will be a huge amount of ammo
for appeal. The lawyers will have done the math and shown that the jury spent
little time on the decision.

I would like to also go ahead and predict that a quick judgement favors Samsung.

Yep.

It still results in a net defeat for Apple.

And they will appeal.
