Ibsen and reality

"Some may have come close, but such regimes turn corrupt and evil quite
rapidly over time."

Or they get smacked down hard and then vilified throughout history because
they're *really scary* to the establishment when they work.

It's hard to tell the difference purely from hindsight.

I think I'd prefer the Swiss or Icelandic solutions though.
Educate everyone well enough that you don't have any "dumb" people.
But that's as likely to happen in America as a ban on "campaign
contributiuons", the uneducated are too easy to control.

Actually, if you're going by IQ, it's probably safe to assume that politicians,
and CxOs, and highly paid sportspeople and others like that are, on average,
BELOW average intelligence!

People who score highly on social skills, score lower on IQ. Excellence in one
area is balanced by weakness elsewhere. It would be nice if we could have a
clever, intelligent ruling class, but I don't think that's possible :-(

Cheers,
Wol
