I purchased an iphone due to a work requirement. My first choice was Android for
a smart phone. So I own 2.

I have two Android tablets. They are wonderful. And I am about to buy
an Android phone.

If there were no Android choices and only Apple, I wouldn't buy at all.
That "expert" who testified for Apple that if there were no Androids
then
100% of buyers of tablets/phones would buy Apple forgot to account
for people like me. I don't buy bad technology, and that's what I
consider Apple's products.

I bought an iPod Touch some time back because I wanted the
audio/video recording and playback features, plus the ability
to carry round documents and language teaching apps.
I had a perfectly good vanilla phone for TXT and speech calls,
and I considered that three times the price of an iPod just
to get it all in one device was not worth it. At that time
there was no Android device that came anywhere near the
iPod Touch in performance and build quality.
