Apple v Samsung

Here's the title of an article that reviews that split-screen device:
"An Embarrassing Lazy Arrogant Money Grab".

It's so bad that the Android site said this as their recommendation:
"Please don't buy this."

Ideas and innovation are awesome. So is competition. But execution of those is
king.

Apple stores
Authored by: stegu on Wednesday, August 22 2012 @ 04:16 PM EDT
In a recent visit to the US, I went to a galleria
where they had an Apple store and a Microsoft store
in very similar, central locations. (Specifically,
it was Fashion Valley in San Diego.)

The Apple store had a dozen employees serving
maybe 30 customers browsing and asking questions.
It was bustling with life, and people were walking
out the front with Apple products in a steady
trickle.

The Microsoft store was just as big, had about as
many employees, looked roughly similar both in
layout and style, but had only a handful of visitors,
most of which were kids playing Kinect games for
free and their parents chilling in the lounge area.
I didn't see anybody buying anything. Most of the
staff were idle, looking terribly bored.

A Samsung store certainly sounds like a better idea
than a Microsoft store, but I doubt it could attract
the kind of attention and brand loyalty that Apple
enjoys. To most people, Apple is still special.
They may be slipping, but if so, the general public
clearly hasn't noticed it yet.
