well, it may sound ridiculous but might be true. High intelligence in a few
people can bring the average above most people. And if you look at it, there
might be no people on the average, only such above and below that line...

And again - those geniuses will consider themselves average, while the noobs
will always think thay know everything and consider themselves geniuses.

I had an Instructor during my Jr. year that graded on the curve but his curve
was skewed to not include any failing grades because as he reasoned the curved
grades of the freshman and sophomore years had already eliminated the under
performing students.
It was ok with me.
