If I understand this OpenSource project properly, then this promises more
security, which will scale down to one's fridges, home heating etc.

It's not - that should be the design goal. It may not be achievable without
horrendous compromises, but anything else is ignoring the reality that a huge
percentage of the population can barely use a computer letalone understand what
an administrator is, why IPv6 might mean they have to do things differently (or
even what this "IP" thing actually is!) and so on.
Obviously it'd be a much better situation if everyone did "get"
security, but that's unrealistic to put it mildly.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
