So what are you trying to say?

People can arrive at this site late at night, tired, distracted, and with things on their mind. A little note about what you are trying to say would help them quickly orient and zoom in on the issue.

Compat vs. extinguish
Authored by: Anonymous on Tuesday, August 14 2012 @ 11:50 AM EDT
In short, it was a plan to make Microsoft's products work better with other Microsoft products than they did with Novell's. Microsoft, the email crows, could do with networking what it had already done with apps in Office.
It could mean that or it could mean that Microsoft was concerned that competitors' products worked better with Microsoft's products than Microsoft's did and decided that was something to improve on. The problem is that saying "our products should work better than our competitors'" could mean "let's harm our competitors" or it could mean "let's improve our products so that they are better than our competitors'".
