Joe Wilcox is an anti-Apple troll of longstanding. He isn't quite in the
category of a Rob Enderle or Florian Muller, as those two seem predisposed to
FUDding their client's competition, but he is most decidedly not the one to go
to
for an even-handed treatment of Apple.
As to your citations: Apple
does not immunize itself from ip suits by virtue
of Jobs' quotation of Picasso,
the quotation certainly does not immunize its
competitors.
As to the
Jobs/Isaacson quote, yes, Jobs thought Android was a knock-off of
iOS, he took
it personally (probably had to do with the affection he had for
Schmidt and
Google's two founders and his history with Microsoft from the 80s),
and he had
a company with deep pockets to commit. Of course, he has passed
away, and the
company is being directed by others. Besides, Jobs, alive, had no
sway over the
court system which has no interest in hosting frivolous vendettas.
Evidence?
What does Jobs' swearing vengeance do to disproving Apple's assertion
that
Samsung has infringed Apple's rights? [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
