I noticed the Samsung devices have a shiny SAMSUNG name
emblazoned on their fronts. Doesn't that pretty much
differentiate the devices from Apple clearly and decisively?
All of these laws are aimed at consumer confusion, getting
what you pay for (whether it's worth it or not). There is no
way a consumer can look at a device with a nice shiny SAMSUNG
on the front and confuse it with an Apple product.

Obviously you're right. (US TM serial # Number72069873) Makes sense too, as they want to use the shape of the bottle as a drawing e.g. on coke cans. Better examples here. Thoug h it seems that the trade dress registrations are in the same database as the trademarks. Difficult to search.
