I just bought the most expensive Samsung phone I could find.
}
Last week, I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 tablet and my cell phone is a Google
Nexus One. A few years ago, I bought a Nokia N800. I have never bought an
Apple product and don't intend to start now.

Had the opposite effect on me as well. Always said I'd never have a touch screen
phone (preferred Blackberry's keypad) but am purchasing an Android just to spite
Apple.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

I did buy some Apples: two PowerPC Mini Mac's, a Time capsule and a aluminium
Intel iMac.
I might have bought an iPhone as well, if it had not been locked to Apple's
walled garden, but the solid build quality of my previous Nokia phones convinced
me to buy a N900 (brilliant piece of equipment.)
The Time capsule annoyed me, because I had forgotten when I did the purchase
that it was the only NAS that could NOT act as an iTunes server.
So now I am purposefully not buying Apple because of their increasingly closed
and proprietary ways.
Newest smartphone is a Nokia N9 and watching Jolla with interest.

Apple spend all their time bitching about Samsung (and others) FRAND
licencing obligations but they don't want to take a licence for them. Until
forced to by a court.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
