How do you survive without a Mobile phone?
Authored by: Anonymous on Friday, August 10 2012 @ 09:33 AM EDT
:-)

I mean really... it is obviously possible, but it seems that
you would be making life very difficult for yourself and
missing out on all the fun.

Its the geek dream, a mobile computer constantly connected
to the rest of humanity.

Also the safety angle, that is if your car breaks down.

Or if they is an accident and you need to call for medical
help.

Or if there is an incident and you need to call the police.

Or you are waiting in a queue and are board ;-), instead of which you can be
reading Groklaw on your smartphone.

Freeway call boxes are cell phones.

Data Cell connections are used for things like water and electric meters.

These sorts of things add a huge number of devices to the total number of
'mobile' devices.
