Samsung must just be looking to the appeal

Get everything entered into the record and wait for it to reach some sort of
independent arbiter, a "judge", if you will.

On my Android devices, Google Search is an app that you can put on your desktop.
It doesn't have to be there until you want it to. I just put it on the main
panel of my Samsung tablet. If it is there, you can also easily remove it. It
is not a permanent part of the display.

If they wanted to see how it
looks out of the box all they had
to do was a factory reset and the
phone would have been
returned to original settings.
Which by the way does not look
anything like an. I phone All
these high price lawyers and a
Federal Judge and no one knows
anything about how the
technology works.

All she had to do was watch YouTube

Sprint Samsung Epic 4G Touch (Galaxy S II) Unboxing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3nzkCr3GeY&feature=player_detailpage# t=151s Oh look, it comes up to home screen 5, which has a Google Search widget at the top of it. And then when you swipe over one screen to the main home screen (4), it looks exactly like the picture Samsung presented. Finally at 5:44 we see what Apple claims the home screen looks like.

In the case of Apple vs Samsung, this has gone from ridiculous to even more
ridiculous.

First, where is the analogy of the 4 wheel car vs the 3 wheel car. 3 wheel
vehicles are inherently unsafe. Just ask Henry Ford or any old farmer. Or more
recently, the owners of all the recalled 3 wheel ATV's. Some designs are
inherently more suitable than others. Displays have been evolving for over 100
years from oval, circles, squares, to
finally, rectangles. Why didn't Apple choose a square display? By the way, my
definition of a display is very broad, including a human's field of vision,
motion picture screens, television sets.

I thought the "look and feel" question was resolved in the case of
Lotus vs. "the world."

Second, has anyone, including the judge, in that courtroom ever bought a
smartphone?

Samsung's attorney's should take the judge and jury to the scene of the crime,
the local smartphone and tablet retailers.

You cannot confuse an Apple product with a Samsung product if you buy at the
Apple Store (storefront or online). The reason is obvious!

You cannot confuse an Apple product with a Samsung product if you buy at Best
Buy. The respective sales areas are separated by 40 to 50 feet of floor space
and other merchandise. My normal human anatomy will not permit any side by side
comparison. Even a long-armed ape could not be
confused.

You cannot confuse an Apple product with a Samsung product if you buy at
Wal-Mart. The Apple products are under glass and behind a locked door.
Whereas, the Samsung products are generally available (for touch and feel) to
the customers without the help of a sales clerk.

Furthermore, the Samsung products clearly say on the face of the product
"SAMSUNG."

I hope the jury has the good sense to rely on its own common sense. We have a
jury of our peers system, because we rely on them to bring some everyday, real
world experience into the courtroom. That experience is
the fulcrum of the lady's scales.

By the time this case is finally decided, technology will have obsoleted all of
the patents in question at least 3 or 4 times.
