No moreso than Samsung

See, the thing is, and the whole point is, the jury's been empaneled, and
instructed not to follow any of the case in the media, and the two parties have
to trust, especially at this stage of the trial, that the jury will follow their
instructions in good faith, until such point as they have reason to believe
otherwise, which is far too soon to say.

This is all courtroom drama 101 stuff, which every USAnian knows by now, since
Law & Order has been on the air for over 20 years.

That Judge Koh flew off the handle when Samsung issued their press release was
just that, the judge flying off the handle inappropriately.

So, no, until the judge issues a gag order on both parties (something she seemed
loath to do at the outset, though maybe she's changed her mind since), anything
they say outside the courtroom has to be assumed to have no bearing on the
proceedings.
