I hope someone digs deeper into this.
Who decided to put a 15-year in over his/her head?
Does the kid in question have any relation to any deciding official/sponsor/city
councillor?
On what grounds was the Korean appeal overruled and by whom?
What are the official channel(s) of protest and what chances of appeal does a
wronged athlete have?
Can offering the Korean fencer a 'consolation medal' be seen as an implicit
admission of her being wronged?
Is the Korean's opponent sponsored by one of the Olympic sponsors?
Many things to look into for an enterprising journo...
