Like I said, I'm lost here as to who is claiming what, and where.
The two companies are engaged in a bruising legal battle that
includes more than 20 cases in 10 countries as they jostle for the top spot in
the
smartphone and tablet markets. In the case before Koh, trial is currently
scheduled for July.

Apple convinced a Dutch court that they buy
chips from Qualcomm, and Qualcomm have a license. Patent exhaustion, done deal,
end of story, but then this
niggles me
Samsung is accusing Apple of
infringing its patents, and claims to be happy to offer Apple a licence, but
Apple counter-claims that it has been
asking for such a thing for months
without sensible response, which is probably why the EU has stepped in to
mediate.
