Witness the abuse (covered in the previous article) that Al Gore suffered.

Cheers,

There is still something odd there. I keep having the feeling
Oracle was more used in this than anything else.

FM was not dreaming, while reporting purely factual :-), about
the piles of money Oracle would get, and what it could do with
it, he was dreaming about the damage to Google and especially to
Android, now and in the future. Even suggesting the dead of
Android, what would not be very beneficial for Oracle, because it
would stop receiving all that money he imagined. That damage
would not help Oracle, unless it could really put up an
alternative if Android would be gone. As it claimed during trial,
but not very convincing.

We all know the big company capable of dreaming of big damage for
Google and Android. The company that spends a huge amount of
money to try to get an alternative for Android sold. That needs
to stop Android to protect it's monopoly's. That had everything
to gain by the damage FM's FUD could create. Are they not more
likely to be behind this than Oracle?

But the direct competitor against Android is Apple. And we red
about Steve Job's opinion over Android. We see Apple using every
court it can get to stop some Android based competition. Couldn't
they be also behind this? FM has never declared that he was
working for Apple, but in the few of his articles I red, he looks
very connected to that company. This is speculative, but one can
well imagine that his relation with (the legal team of) Apple may
be not a direct working relation but an indirect relation via an
public relation company or an other kind of relation.
