Possible prior art

Developed in 1998 - the 067 patent was issued 2001.

MicroFocus Cobol and many others (HP?) used FlexLM as a license management
system. You could not run a licensed program unless the license server was
running somewhere on the network. I don't grok patent legalese, but I would be
very surprised if many of the patent claims should not be invalidated by this
prior art alone. I'm not 100% sure, but claim 107 mentioned specially in the
complaint does exactly what FlexLM does/did.
