Ah, but this is so last year.

When you "buy" a house, you (soon will) have to read the EULA. If you
do, you'll see that you do not own in the traditional term, but you purchased a
license to use the house. Hence, the keys you have are not the only keys and
can be revoked at any time. Also, the house in question can, at the will of the
licensor, stop providing a (functional) kitchen -- because the subdivision now
wants you to use the communal one. Like, alternate OS.

More or less like, when you buy a piece of real property, you don't really own
it -- at least not all rights (mineral rights, etc.) in CA.

At least that's what most CC&R try to implement; they've not succeeded yet,
but the wonderful world of software IP shows them the way.

Any news about the Sony class-action suit yet ?
