All software capable of running on a general purpose computational platform is
merely _digital content_ for the computational platform.
That is a scientific fact. PoIR's article does a fine job of explaining this.
Why do you keep arguing against the facts? (Rhetorical question. We know why.
Your career depends on legal fictions. Facts cannot be allowed into the
picture.)

Wonderful trolling, by the way. I don't think we've had anyone this persistant
for a long time. Well done.
I'll repeat a couple of comparisons for your brain anyway, so this post isn't a
complete waste of space:
Software improves a computer in exactly the same way that a cookbook improves an
oven.
Moving the gear lever in your car doesn't create a new machine. Changing
software on a computer is equivilent to changing the gear in your car.
Computers are not magic.
Software is a series of instructions,
