Megaupload and the twilight of copyright

To the author...

If you are going to give a revisionist history of the
rational behind the copyright extension act, at least
give us all the facts. You say it wasn't enacted on
behalf of Disney, but rather, to match up with
European copyright duration. You neglect to explain
that Europe had extended copyright duration to make
up for years lost due to devastation from World War II.

The USA did not suffer such devastation, and had no
justificationl to
extend copyright. Instead, after time to recover,
Europe was supposed to
revert to previous copyright duration.

Maybe Mercedes' but that's pronounced exaclt the same anyway ;)
