Microsoft's offer of extension, no matter how long, is not a penalty imposed by
the Commission. I suggest you read the actual Commission statement. It uses
strong language and those guys don't mess about. Also, don't forget that
Microsoft's coourt attempts to avoid the current penalties has established that
the Commission has the legal power to impose such punishments.
