That fact is that everything ( at least in soft-ware ) is obvious. If it weren't
it wouldn't work and thus be impossible.

I point out what appears to be - and this is an assumption on my part - an
actual Lawyer stating Judges don't know Patent Law.
And you follow up
with re-directing that a conclusion that programmers are the only ones that know
Patent Law.
Let's be clear for posterity:
1) I am a software
developer.
2) I certainly do not speak to a better knowledge of any Law
- let alone Patent Law - then Judges or Lawyers.
3) My opinion with
regards Patent Law and whether or not software should be protectable by Patents
is based as my own opinion as an expert in the field of Software.
Now I ask
you to present your own credentials. Disclosure - if you will - with regards
what your profession is such as if you are a Patent Lawyer.
