There you go generalizing again. Neither Leo, nor the Peruvians disclosed the
method of wing warping and apparatus therefor, for example, claimed by Wilbur
and Orville.

The words in the claims matter.

And as I keep saying :-) the first successful aeroplane to be built, was built
several years before the Wright Flyer. iirc it was built in 1896.

(It made its first *attempted* flight that year. It actually made its first
successful flight in 1912.)
