It occurred to me recently that Microsoft actually
imagines that it
could
successfully compete with Apple. Well of course
they would think
that, being
out of touch with the times. In the "good
old days", Apple
only had 5% of the
market, and Windows easily
dominated the desktop
market. Poor Steve Ballmer
doesn't realize that the
world has changed,
and that there is no more reason
to believe Microsoft
could maintain
dominance. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Shortly after failing to crush Google Microsoft now wants to
kill Apple. Ooooohhhhhh! I can hear them quaking in their
sandals.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Microsoft's Ballmer throws down
gauntlet against Apple
Immediately afterward Ballmer revealed he'd been
sitting in
that gauntlet until the occasion arose to throw
it.

I do like this 'old fashioned' approach than more modern
equipment that he
has used in the past (i.e., a chair). But
it will be interesting if Microsoft
can pull off a
competitive tablet using an Intel Ivy Bridge processor
especially as it may make it easier to run Linux on a tablet.

I get tired listening or reading his words. Same marketing buzzwords as always.
I always want to scream, "FIND SOME NEW MATERIAL!" [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
