Stealing ideas?
Authored by: Anonymous on Monday, July 09 2012 @ 11:52 AM EDT
I think this is an excellent expression of where Apple et al have gone wrong.
Neither patent nor copyright can protect ideas. They simply protect one
implementation or expression of those ideas. In fact, their primary purpose is
to expose those ideas to a wider audience so they can be used to extend the
state of the art in science and literature. Ideas cannot be stolen, they can
only be shared.
