Another reason for building a firewall/router with Linux on an old computer.
That's what I use. In addition to not having to worry about this, I can build
it my way. My firewall/router includes DHCP server, caching DNS server, 6in4
IPv6 tunnel and VPN.

Posner said some industries, like pharmaceuticals, had a
better
claim to intellectual property protection because of
the enormous investment it
takes to create a successful
drug.
Advances in software and other
industries cost much less,
he said, and the companies benefit tremendously from
being
first in the market with gadgets -- a benefit they would
still get if
there were no software patents.
"It's not clear that we really need
patents in most
industries," he said. Also, devices like smartphones have
thousands of component features, and they all receive legal
protection. "You
just have this proliferation of patents,"
Posner said. "It's a
problem."
PJ said it before, software and patents need to get a
divorce...

From the article:
Donor nations were shocked last
month, when UNICEF disclosed that it has been forced to pay artificially
elevated prices for vaccines under an arrangement called the Advance Market
Commitment, which was brokered by Gates Foundation-dominated GAVI alliance, to
greatly increase drug company profits.
As I said previously, the
Gates Foundation is very easy to understand if one just opens one's eyes instead
of accepting what the Gates Foundation PR presents:
Investment for personal
enrichment purposes masquerading as philanthropy!
Is anyone really going to
try and defend the Gates Foundation by claiming that charging UNICEF more for
vaccinations then they would otherwise be paying is somehow helping those in
need?
And just to clarify "in need" I'm refering to the poor that UNICEF
helps, not the wealthy who are "too poor to buy their own island".
