Try WINE?
Authored by: Anonymous on Friday, July 06 2012 @ 12:28 AM EDT

Not all Windows software runs under WINE.

When I've needed specific functionality, I've written a program thar does what I need. I'd releaee it under GPL 3.0, but for reason: a plethora of non-patents on things that, but for "with a computer" were state of the art fifty something years ago.

Something else I've noticed is that between the bespoke market, and pro- sumer market, therd are more choices for Windows, and those choices provide greater functionality, and ese of use,, than the Linux equivalent, if there even is one. Typically, the Linux 'equivalent' is akin to using a Brownie camera, to make IMAX format movie.
