For the rest of the MS-Windows viral load (i.e. almost all of it), secure boot does you zero good. It's not so much that it's not secure enough, as it is a case that there's almost nothing worth trusting it for.

And, given that the cost is that you won't be able to load a better/more secure OS when you decide you want to use (or even test) it -- and, even more importantly -- that you won't even be able to threaten Microsoft that you'll do so -- that's a pretty high cost for almost zero value.
