That's very interesting. I can see why people would be disturbed by the
prospect of this happening. Do you have any idea of what the logic is behind
this strategy (locking down ARM but not x86)? I will have to think about it
more. The best guess I have now is they are trying to innocuously get the
concept of total lock down mode established so they can spread it to other
platforms at a later date.
I'm reminded of the words of Winston
Churchill:
