Are you a congressperson, or a retired congressperson?
Authored by: Anonymous on Sunday, July 01 2012 @ 09:00 AM EDT
I have been under ObamaCare for more than 40 years. If you will recall, he stated that his goal was to extend to everyone the kind of insurance system enjoyed by Congress.
Are you a congressperson or a retired congressperson? If not, then you have not enjoyed the kind of insurance system enjoyed by congress. All regular civil servant type employees of the federal government must pay insurance premiums and copays and deductibles as part of their health insurance, just like most other health insurance plans.

Congresspersons. on the other hand, get their health insurance without any of those piddling charges. they pay no premiums. They pay no copays, and they pay no deductible.

So for everyone to enjoy the same type of health insurance as congress, the government should supply the health insurance to all with no one having to pay any premiums, copays or deductibles. Of course, they would have to increase taxes on everyone to pay for it, but that's how they're paying for congresspersons health insurance now, out of the general tax pool.
