Only a lawyer has enough money to get into farming.
Come back in five, ten years, see if he's still there...

What makes you think that small farmers who have employees buy health insurance
for those employees?
For that matter, what makes you think that small farmers buy health insurance
for themselves?
I know plenty of small farmers who have no medical insurance at all.
I grew up on a small farm. When I was in third grade, I slipped and fell on
some extremely hot steel that had just been cut in two with an acetylene cutting
torch half a minute earlier. The worst burn ran pretty much along the length of
my left forearm. It left a brand that was still bright red 15 years later. We
had no insurance and so I never saw a doctor about it. The only treatment I
received for the burn was some burn ointment from the pharmacy.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
