Forget the itunes thing it appears to be quite regional and the Itunes software
is poorly written to the point I would not risk installing it.
Finding music on filesaharing networks is much easier than the physical media
and finding indie music is easier than that from big labels. The major labels
are failures at the distribution and production of music, in the 80's I used to
buy bootleg LP's at great cost and wondered if the bootleggers could make a
living how come the artists own label was sitting on their backside rather than
exploiting the same market. Some bootlegs were far better produced than the
labels offerings.
These incumbents have grown very fat and lazy and prefer to rely on influence
and corruption rather than products.
