Oracle says:

1) The structure of the comments is copywriteable
2) The comments necessarily follow the structure of the API
3) The structure of the API is copywriteable

Those comments were a bit longer than you think

Oracle is referring to two places where a Sun developer had written a long comment explaining the idea behind some code, and Google copied that exact explanation, word for word.

In one of those places, Google argued heavily at trial that even though they copied the comment, their code does not do what the comment says (which is something Oracle claims to hold a patent on too).
