The Inconvenience of Context

Dunno. It might be better. Still, I wonder how many people
would do actual research on the issues before voting. If
you're one vote out of 100 - sure - reading a 40 page legal
document makes sense. If you're one vote out of
100,000,000...maybe it isn't worth your time. With 1%
participation, (which you'd get to with daily votes),
representation might actually be better.

I guess it would be a bit like now...where people avoid
research until legislation crosses the 'idiocy line'. Given
that our current legislation is well-past the 'idiocy
line.', probably it might be an improvement.

I wonder a bit about a semi-representative democracy - where
we have elected representatives and the ability to vote on
selected legislation.

The way it might work is...for a given district...with
population X...and voting population nX (n<1), the
representative's vote counts for (1-n)X and each member of
the population is counted as 1/X.
