The only thing that is new here, is that local police can now send people to
Department of Immigration detention centers.
Everything else has been legally allowed, or at least legally tolerated, for
decades.
I doubt that people outside of the industry, realize just how easy it is to
obtain "legitimate" identification papers, with _all_ of the security
marks that are included on the papers that federal and state agencies issue.
This includes passports.
Indeed, with the passage of this law, I suspect the number of "illegal
immigrants" to present an "official" United States Passport as
