I do have an original Asus Transformer, and I must say that
it isn't that expensive. When I bought it, it costed, with
the keyboard dock, the same as a wifi Xoom, and less than a
Galaxy Tab 10.1. The dock, with the extra battery, is
extremely useful, as it provides 2 full size USB ports, and
a full size SD card slot, in addition of an extra battery
and acting as a keyboard.
Now we need a halfway decent Office app that can write ODT
(libreoffice guys, I'm looking at you, you promised that you
would release one sometime this year), and it will be a
reasonable netbook replacement.
Nowadays, you should look at the Transformer Pad, aka Asus
Transformer 300. For the same price I paid for mine, you get
a quad core processort, and a nicer finish (you lose one USB
port, but alas, such is life)[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

I didn't think of that, about having to have
a table to type. You are right about that.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
