Rolls Royce wanted to name a car "Silver Mist". They were fairly
rapidly disabused of the notion :-)

As with the English equivalents, there are several words for the same substance,
with some being innocuous and some being naughty. Even so, when we had a
project named MIST, I can see why our VP was hesitant to ask for $9M t fun a
project with a name that means 'manure.' As with the English 'manure,' 'mist'
is just a barnyard material that needs to be dealt with but has some uses.
That is where I tried to keep within Groklaw's language restrictions by staying
away from the rude terms for the same substance. To some extent, I may have
even lost some honesty in the process, though. 'Mist' does have some redeeming
qualities, unilke what Oracle's management has between the ears.
A semi-related tangent... A college roommate educated me about how valuable
manure can be when telling of his family's chicken business. When the coop
needs cleaning, they take bids from companies to have the buildings cleaned and
the manure removed. The surprise to me was that the high bid wins; these
companies pay for the privilege to collect the valued manure.
