Hmm. It seems I already transcribed this, and presumably
posted it, but there's nothing on the exhibits page.
Anyway, it looks like you've done it correctly, and it's
better to have two people do the same document than
nobody at all. :-)[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Sproggit, the <pre> tag does not work out for PJ's purposes because it
says to preserve the formatting of the included text but posting in plain text
mode destroys that formatting.
You don't have to include much formatting. In your submission, you do not need
much in the part between the <pre> and the </pre> other than a
<p> at each paragraph break and a <br> at the end of only those
lines that really do require that it be end of line and is not a paragraph
break.
For example:
<b><u>Teresa Jennings</u></b><br>
From: Bill Gates<br>
To: Bernard Vergnes; Brad Silverberg; Chris Peters; Jeff Raikes; Jonathan
Lazarus; Lewis Levin; Mike Brown; Mike Maples; Mike Murray; Paul Maritz; Pete
Higgins; Steve Ballmer<br>
Cc: Bill Neukom; Steven Sinofsky<br>
Subject: Two Companies with Business Focus<br>
Date: Sunday, April 25, 1993 2:10PM
<p>
THIS is a very confidential memo.
<p>
Also, you do have to watch for the special characters in html > < and
& and convert them to > < and & or else they don't
show up right in the browser,
as well as any high-bit or international characters that might find their way in
to the text such s curly quotes or symbols.
You don't need the opening doctype, html, head section, or the body tags, as it
is just meant to be pasted inside of a page. You can preview your sample in a
browser without those tags and the browser will handle it fine.
