People in the explosive business are already worried about Li batteries
particularly in hybrids. Wrapping it up in Mg would just be the icing on the
cake. One more thing to add to the banned list, shoes, underwear, shampoo...

Please look up "Magnalite"cookware

Made from a combination of aluminum and magnesium. These are quite safe to use
on a gas stove. Magnesium and aluminum both form tenacious oxide films on
exposure to oxygen/air.
