The very day that Microsoft announces an own-brand ARM tablet, expect Intel
to announce their Android-on-Intel reference tablet platform.

Looks like the Microsoft tablet is a way to get B&N out
of the Android game.

B&N has been a major source of income for many developing
Android apps. This looks like it will kill off a major
income stream.

At the same time this may be the death of another
Microsoft partner. Customers with a current Nook Color or
Nook Tablet reader will be upset to find out that that apps
they purchased on these devices can't run on B&N's next Nook
tablet.
