just remembered BSF is working on contingency in the SCO case. Any upfront payment would have been far less than $40M.

$40M is what BSF will be writing off as loss. Estimate for legal in Oracle v Google to date is $10M for each company . . . and probably conservative . . . have read as high as $25M each

No public records? My good man, that is what Groklaw does. See our Cont racts page in the main menu and look for Boies Schiller. All the contracts are right there and have been for some time.
