Not just that age group either.
When I first read that Nokia was going with Windows Phone, two thoughts sprang
to my thirty-something mind:
- Who wants viruses on their 'phone?
- Nokia (used to) make excellent user interfaces, while Microfost's UIs are (to
put it nicely) on the clunky side. A sad day for Nokia.

I'm pretty sure they know exactly how toxic Microsoft and Windows are. Try
finding a mention of Microsoft on the xbox (probably their least hated brand)
packaging for example.
Ballmer really really likes calling things windows blah though and it kills
anything they introduce. It's not a good brand, it's poison. I wonder how well
WP would have done if they'd taken the xbox approach (ie avoid anything that
looks like MS branding at all).[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
