I've just gone through my posts down this entire thread. I have not stated
anywhere Copyright gives a "right to profit". You stated:
And
copyright law does not, contrary to what you assert, give the copyright
holder any right to profit from their work.
You used those
words: "right to profit". Not me. I responded with:
I certainly
didn't intend to assert that.
Since that was unclear, let me
outline in exact words my perspective on that exact point:
Neither
Copyrights Nor Patents Guarantee Profit! Neither grants a "right to
profit"!
In short: You are arguing with yourself. You are arguing with
your own misconception of the concepts I've been trying to state. If you wish
to continue, knock yourself out.
However: if you're going to continue to
insist replying to my posts as though I had said something I didn't, I do expect
a little bit of consideration in the form of you outlining exactly where I said
what you claim I said.
