Given a bad situation, just work as though it's going to go away, and do
something that will keep the wolves off your back until then. Be loud about it,
so you attract other like-minded people, eventually you will get someone who is
good at marketing and agrees with you, who may see a way to frame the issue in a
way better for the PHBs to accept.


Or:

Let them ignore you, let them laugh at you, let them fight you, know that you
will win.


Or:

Ignore the people trying to get in your way. Yes, having them call in the
"guys with guns" may be an issue, but they're more like you than the
people calling them in, so convince them that you're right instead.

Some people have posted about problems at Groklaw, and have been labeled as
trolls. If such posts do not seem to happen as much now it is because the GL
system has become good at hiding anything it does not want known.
