I too had numerous Pilots, Handsprings, etc. One of the first things I taught them all was to use the built-in macros to interpret a number of my Graffiti motions into whole words I used frequently. This patent just has a bigger look-up list (dictionary) keyed on a fixed set of squiggles set in a known space (i.e. a QWERTY keyboard). I see nothing new here.
