Investigative reporting from the MSM?
Authored by: PJ on Sunday, June 10 2012 @ 02:37 PM EDT
Well, I wouldn't say Richard Nixon never dreamed
of them. If you read in the Washington Post the
current article by Woodward and Bernstein, titled
something like "Richard Nixon Was Even Worse than
We Imagined" you'll see that he certainly thought
about killing, and he implemented a rather large
group of spies, at least 50, who did nothing,
one hopes, but spy on Democrats and try to make
sure they lost, using dirty tricks.

And he was a rabid anti-Semite, it turns out.
And generally a mighty weird dude.

"I got my job through The Washington Post"
Authored by: betajet on Sunday, June 10 2012 @ 04:32 PM EDT
I remember a wonderful circa 1975 picture of a beaming Gerald Ford next to the words "I got my job through The Washington Post!" Well, it's been a long time since The Washington Post changed the course of USA history for the better. I was very disappointed by the WP when they participated in the marketing phase for the recent Iraq war, when they should have been exposing the phoniness coming from the White House.
