Apple Patents the "Wedge Shape"
Authored by: N_au on Saturday, June 09 2012 @ 03:46 AM EDT
Yes my wifes Asus netbook which is over 2 years old has a wedge shape. How silly
can apple get?? Are they going to sue over something that is already produced?
Good business proposition that. Find something popular that nobody bothered
getting a patent on, get a patent on it yourself and then sue everyone for
copying you. How brilliant!!

If Company A didn't bother to even try to get a patent on something as sure as
eggs is egss, some Company T will come along and get one. Then Company A will
find themselves at the wrong end of a very big law suit.

so....

1) The System is broken
2) The US Patent Offices is not fit for purpose
3) The vested interests in DC won't do anything to hurt their bretherin. i.e.
Lawyers who are also Politicians really don't like stopping any of the many
legal gravy trains that other lawyers ccurrently enjoy. Heaven forbid, it might
affect the millions of dollars that they need to raise to get re-elected.

Therefore, instead of a load of bitching about something that is clearly silly
and has come out of the ministry of Silly Walks and get the system changed? Then
these things won't be news.

As a non-American, I can't do much about the US Legal System now can I but US
Citizens sure can.

Ubuntu & 'apt-get' are not the answer to Life, The Universe & Everything which
is of course, "42" or is it 1.618?
